Got up reasonably early to avoid the high winds, which we believe to be caused by the desert getting very hot further inland.

Did a couple of hours sunbathing and the high winds didn't arrive, thankfully.

Decided that, as it was calm, it would be safe to do some more mountaineering. Again, the climbing was quite dangerous: there were several times when a slip would have resulted in either death or serious injury, and the rocks were very crumbly!

Mountains near Dahab.

We got up to quite a respectable height today. We were looking down quite a long way to the foothills. Unfortunately it was a little hazy so we couldn't look over Saudi again.

Found out, at last, why it has been impossible to get beer in the Bedouin Village: it is illegal to sell it here!
