Got up and walked to the girls' apartment, arriving at 10.15.

The whole day was very pleasant. We tasted plenty of great wines and even bought a bottle called "Duc de Berri Chenin Blanc". Very nice indeed and it cost only R6.

We had lunch in Stellenbosch, where we talked to a waitress who had a free flight to London, a luxury apartment in Kensington, and a job thrown in. Lucky cow.

After a meal at the Wimpy we met up with the girls at their apartment and drank our bottle of wine. After that, we took a taxi to the waterfront and wandered into the nearest pub. It wasn't long before Kathy and Diane had persuaded us to talk to some girls so that they could go and talk to somebody else.

We had some interesting conversations with the South African girls about the political situation in the country. We arranged to meet them at the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens after our mountain-climbing, so that they could drive us around the most beautiful beaches in the area.

After walking all the way back from the V&A docks to our guest house it was about 1.30. We were very tired.
