Not too bad. Sorted peppers for the market, picked a few tomatoes, finished folding the nets, and carried out further repairs to the melon greenhouses.

Had a bit of fun with Banjo today. When we have folded the nets, he has always insisted on carrying the rolled-up bundle on his back into the shelter. Olly and I thought it would be interesting to deny him this pleasure by carrying the net between us like a stretcher. As we lifted the net, he scurried over, assuming that we were going to place it on his back. We totally ignored him. After Sumbad and Godwin did the same Banjo was visibly unhappy.

We also found out many interesting things about Banjo. The reason he is working here for three years is to save up for a motorbike so he can pull women in Thailand―a far better reason than Sumbad's, which is to buy a house for his wife and child to live in. How boring! We also found out why it is always Banjo who drives the tractor to work. Sumbad taught him how to drive the tractor (he had never even driven a car before) and since then he has not let Sumbad near it!

Banjo has also shown Godwin a small dagger recently, which he says he will use in the pub on New Year's Eve. Godwin was most impressed, of course.
