A pretty uneventful day. Felt pretty tired from leaving Mohammed’s apartment at 2.00 in the morning. Rang Dad in the evening from the Nile Hilton. Bit of a shock -- the attendant said it would cost only E£18 for the three minutes (minimum charge) but instead it was E£18 per minute! I came out of the booth and she charged me E£64!! Planned to get the bus to Dahab tomorrow.
